Fingerplays & songs - SEPTEMBER Fingerplay of the Month

CLAP MY HANDS
I clap my hands,
I touch my feet,
I jump up from the ground.

I clap my hands,
I touch my feet,
I turn myself around.

I clap my hands,
I touch my feet,
I sit myself right down.

I clap my hands,
I touch my feet,
And I do not make a sound.

Use songs and fingerplays to:
  • Improve children's motor skills and coordination.

  • Have FUN!

  • Use puppets to:
  • Stretch children's imaginations.
  • Introduce a book.
  • Ask questions about a book.
  • TELL a STORY (Narrative skills)
  • pig puppet

You can borrow puppets from Hennepin County Libraries.
