Hennepin County Library has a special Job and Career Center located at the Brookdale Resource Library. At the Center you will find books, videos, tapes, magazines, and computer programs to assist you in your job search.
First time job seekers, people changing careers, and those re-entering the workforce will find materials to make the transition faster and easier. Write or update your resume, identify the occupations that fit your skills and personality, and locate and
apply for jobs on one of several computer workstations.
From the Center or any computer with World Wide Web access you can use the Job
and CareerLinks Homepage to connect to internet sites across the country. You
can search the Web for local and national job vacancies, newspaper classified
ads, tips on resume writing, career information, and more.
Many of the materials at the Job and Career Center can be found at the other Hennepin County Libraries, or reserved and sent to the Hennepin County Library most convenient to you.
All the materials and services at the Job and Career Center are available when the Brookdale Resource Library is open.
