Weather cancels St. Anthony celebration, but library will be open for patrons

In anticipation of heavy snowfall Friday night and Saturday, Hennepin County Library is canceling the celebration marking the reopening of the renovated library in St. Anthony, originally scheduled for Saturday morning. The event will be rescheduled.

However, the library will be open for patrons to come and see the renovations for themselves, and to check out materials for a wintry weekend.

Hennepin County Library – St. Anthony, located at 2941 Pentagon Drive N.E., St. Anthony, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and will reopen at noon on Monday, December 19.
