The class will go through the steps of creating a new database in Access. Principles of good database design will be presented.

Participants must have completed the Introduction to Windows training session, supervisory approval is necessary.

1. Database Design:
   Guiding principles of designing a new database such as normalization will be described.
2. Table Design Techniques:
   Learn about datatypes and field properties.
3. Creating Queries:
   Create a query to view records with pre-defined criteria.
4. Creating Relationships within a Database:
   Learn the "Rules of Relationships" to link tables
