Basic Internet Searching

This class offers an overview of basic Internet searching techniques. It also offers a quick tour of Hennepin County Library internet and specialized services available through the library homepage and Reference Desk portion of the staff web site.
The class is presented by the Internet Searching Reference Training Team.

This class is required for librarians, associate librarians and substitute librarians who are new to HCL. Current staff, including substitutes, who want a refresher, are welcome to attend this class. Supervisory approval is required. Current substitutes should request approval from the supervisor of the agency where they substitute most often.
