Outlook 2002

Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to: read and send messages with attachments, create folders, customize toolbars, use the Out-of-Office Assistant, use Organize for message sorting, create a Signature.

Participants must have completed the Introduction to Windows training session, supervisory approval is necessary.

  1. Outlook Window:
    Viewing, sorting and deleting messages from your Inbox.
  2. Email:
    Reading, Replying, Forwarding messages; Opening and Saving Attachments.
  3. Setting Options:
    Setting options (preferences) keeps Outlook working the way you want it to work.
  4. Mail Folders:
    Create new folders, nesting folders, deleting folders.
  5. Customizing Toolbars:
    Add or remove shortcut buttons to the toolbars.
  6. Out of Office Assistant:
    Leave a message in e-mail, informing others that you're out, and when you'll be back.
  7. Organize:
    Make quick rules for pre-sorting messages on a as-needed basis.
