Introduction to Windows XP

This course provides an introduction to PC’s for staff. Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to use a two-button mouse, use keyboard shortcuts, move and/or size windows, and apply Folder View options.

This class is a very basic windows class for people who are not familiar with PC's/computers. It is not an Introduction to Horizon class.

Note: You can also request one-on-one training from your agency or Resource Group LTA.

Supervisory approval is necessary.

1. Navigate the Desktop: use the two-button mouse, move and arrange icons, use the Taskbar
2. Windows: open, size, minimize, maximize, close, view options
3. Menus: menu options, shortcut keystrokes
