Within employees’ own agency, section, or cluster:
Employees may be regularly scheduled in positions in only one classification. Employees may only substitute in their permanent classification.

Outside employees’ own agency, section or cluster:
Employees may substitute in only one classification outside of their own agency, section, or cluster. This classification may be different from their permanent classification in their "own" agency, section, or cluster.

Exceptions to this policy must have the prior written approval of the Cluster/Division Head and the Senior Human Resources Representative.
