To checkout material, patrons already registered on the system must present one of the following: (For patrons with charges see Fines payment policy)

• Library card with barcode -- full borrowing privileges

• Barcode number only (verbally or on paper) -- full borrowing privileges

Verification: have patron recite address.*
• Dynix patron ID number -- full borrowing privileges
  Verification: have patron recite address.*
• Other ID (e.g., drivers license, checkbook, evidence of mail received at current address, or student picture ID) -- full borrowing privileges
  Verification: for student picture ID without address, have patron recite address.*
• No barcode, Dynix patron ID, or other ID -- restricted to 2 items
  Verification: have patron recite address.*

*Area libraries may send patrons to returns desk for verification.
