REMOVAL OF LIBRARY MATERIAL AND PROPERTY

Staff members are reminded that they are required to check out material in the same manner as the public. Taking library material without checking it out in the regular manner constitutes a misdemeanor or a felony depending on the value of the material.

Any staff member involved in unauthorized removal of library property is subject to disciplinary action and possible dismissal.

Library materials offered for sale are public property and subject to the same protection as the library collection.
