Elizabeth Sinkler Coxe’s Tales from the Grand Tour, 1890–1910 is a travelogue of captivating adventures through exotic lands as experienced by an intrepid American aristocrat and her son at the dawn of the twentieth century. Other books by women travelers of the Victorian era and the early 20th-Century include Passionate nomad : the life of Freya Stark by Jane Fletcher Geniesse and Amazing traveler, Isabella Bird: The biography of a Victorian adventurer by Evelyn Kaye.
