by Patterson, James I thought it was pretty good. But you expected all these things to happen and to find out all this stuff and it really just began new mysteries. posted May 5, 2009 at 6:03PM

by Jacques, Brian I love Redwall. I really, really LOVE Redwall. There are better ones you could start with (I'm not saying this one wasn't really good) but I thought you should start with this one because it's the one I read first. I had Ashley start with Taggerung because it's my favorite book EVER (I'm pretty sure nothing will ever beat Taggerung on my favorite books list). Tagg is so cool. The funny thing is that Lord Brocktree is like the only book in the Redwall series that never mentions Redwall. Redwall is my favorite series ever. Once Brian Jacques was traveling around the world and he came to Wild Rumpus and I got to meet him. Matthew came too. Brian Jacques was really cool. And he had a cool accent. There was a setup all over Wild Rumpus with his books on display and Redwall recipes all over (because in the books Redwall always has really good food). He signed two of my books. He was there to celebrate his new book that had just come out, Eulalia! and I thought it was his last book so I was really sad. But I found out not so long ago that it wasn't his last book (I don't know where I got the idea) so then I was really happy. I know this is insanely long so I'm just going to conclude... REDWALL IS REALLY COOL! And I think you'll really like it. And as an added bonus there are lots of them and they're still coming out (in case you want to borrow any of them I own most of them). I can tell you which ones are the best. posted Mar 29, 2009 at 2:49PM

by Patterson, James, 1947- This is a really good book and it has sequels. Although I've got to admit it's REALLY dark. It's also kind of scary at parts. Plus, the end is really infuriating. You know the kind where it ends at the most exciting part and all the mysteries are still waiting to be solved. In fact, I probably would have ended up bashing my head against a wall for an hour if it didn't have a sequel (even so I slammed the book in too my head several times anyway). ********** posted Mar 29, 2009 at 2:39PM

by Levine, Gail Carson This is a really good book. It was written by the author of Ella Enchanted. It's also at the same time (more or less) and in the same world as Ella Enchanted (but in a different country). *********** posted Mar 26, 2009 at 10:44PM

by Lewis, C. S. 1898-1963 This is a classic; you need to read it (kind of like Harry Potter but I've given up on that one). If you want I can give it to you on CD. You should read all 7 of them. I have them all on CD. ********** P.S. It's nothing like the movie. The movie stinks. posted Mar 26, 2009 at 10:43PM

by Rodda, Emily This series is a classic. They're pretty easy reads put they're really good anyway. There are actually three series in the Deltora thing (they have the same characters and you need to read the series in order and they're related in lots of other ways). First, there's Deltora Quest with 8 books. Then, The Shadowlands with 3 books. Finally, Dragons of Deltora with 4 books. They're all really good books even if they sound cheesy. posted Mar 26, 2009 at 10:42PM

| Mariel's List (16 titles)
Mariel, I put all the books I want you to read on this list and I made a comment for each one. I thought it would take too long for you to read the sequels too so I thought you could just make a list of them and then read them after you go through all the books on the list. | |
| Amazingly Great Books (24 titles)
These are some of my favorite books of all time. |
