by Wrede, Patricia C., 1953- This book had the perfect balance of mystery/adventure and romance. Being a girl who likes there to be a bit of sparks entwined in, this was such an awesome read. It went really fast. Yes, its over 400 pages but you don't need to read this all in one sitting. It took me a couple days to finish it, but it was well worth it. Very predictable ending (as far as romance), but there are nice spins and turns. Bottom line, great book, love the writing, love the setting, all of it was delicious! posted Jul 27, 2012 at 8:11PM

by Gist, Deeanne. This one is one that I hold close and dear to my heart. This one has the story of mud and dirt, stubborn women, and one very sexy man (wink, wink). This story is under the Christian section of book stores, and there is some faith of the Lord lightly mixed in between this story. I hope that you love this book as much as I do. Happy reading. posted Apr 5, 2010 at 11:49AM

by Gibson, Rachel This- just like 'Not another Bad Date'- was amazing. This book drew me to tears! excitment, and laughter. However, dont read this one until you have read her first one- Sex, Lies, and Dating. Happy reading! posted Dec 26, 2008 at 4:00PM

by Mallery, Susan When I got done with this book, I thought to myself 'WOW'. When I first picked this up I was like, cool, sounds good, looks good, whatever. This book just blew me over! I cant fit the description on here but I can describe. Funny, cute, touching, loving, moving, out there, chance, faith, hope, love, confusing, understanding, full, meaningful, to-die-for, purpose... ya its all cheesy but they fit it. I love this book, I know I say it to all my books but why wouldnt I? I love books with mothers and true love. But its mostly about chance. Moms have the ability to take a chance, cause sometimes its all they have left. Age: 16 and up posted Oct 16, 2008 at 10:34PM

by Andrews, Mary Kay, 1954- Wow, love it! Mother who ran off with a guy and left her daughter and husband? Thats the story of Keeley Murdock's life. But how was she going to know that her fiancé was screwing her MOH(maid of honor) and that she would be pulling a big yell and run scene. However, not before she scratched in 'asshole' on his fabulous car. Well, she 'spelt' asshole wrong, according to the handsome Will Mahoney she spelt it 'ash hole'. Will came into town for the wedding, but also to hire Keeley for her awesome decorating skills. He wanted her to design the old mansion for his dream girl. But what if in the process she finds the one thing she was looking for and one that happened? This book is wonderful. I love it, so you should read it. lol jk. Hissy Fit has some language, the works, but it is only for mature people. Wow, look at the way I sound. You'd think that I was an old lady and not a Teenager. Well read and love. posted Oct 16, 2008 at 10:27PM

by Acosta, Marta this one was- is too amazing and indescribable to make words. I am completely in love with Marta Acosta! I love her writing, characters, plot, ect. As you know with the 'Happy Hour At Casa Dracula' if I even slightly try to describe it I would make summarizing it up longer then the actual book. The difference with this one is that I think that Marta made it sound as if Oswald was the enemy. This book is like the sweetness of calf blood.(first book joke) If I made this book sound weird its because it is weird, but it is also fascinating, entertaining, a real page-turner, a 0% of disappointment and ya get it. I just wish that I could summarize it like I do to most books, but then again, this is not most books. This book I would put at 15 years old and up. Hope you like this book because with my books its never a disappointment. posted Oct 16, 2008 at 10:11PM

by Acosta, Marta This book is everything I could ever ask for. It has romance, danger, vampires, betral, hatred, greed, alcohol(lol), misconception(hope thats the right word), loneliness, happiness, cravings, shame, and well you get the picture. I would love to put the description but it would be much longer then what it is when you just click on it. But I will tell you it is a hell-of-a lot better then the stilly(sry) twilight series. I would say 14 and up for this book. Sry about the age thingy, but sometimes ya just gotta have it. posted Oct 16, 2008 at 10:00PM

A place where you have nothing to fear in what you read. If it is good or bad, happy or... not so much sad books, but I've got them. However, most of my books have some tears in it, and all I say is 'If it doesnt make me cry, its not a great book' well thats mostly true. Doesnt mean that all books are like that, just the ones that I like. ;) Read the books that I put on here because I know that you will love them. |
