Brilliant. I liked it. The girl named Keladry of Mindelan went through a lot of thrill journeys as a extraordinary goodhearted page, trying to become a squire, then earn her shield and become the second lady knight of Tortall.   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtHarry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban
by Rowling, J. K.
This book was both amusing and incredibly enjoyable. Something extraodinary always happens to Harry Potter. This story entertained me for a long time and I just felt like reading it again and again whenever I am bored.   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtPerloo the bold
by Avi, 1937-
'Perloo keeps his promises, was smart and loyal.Decent too.' This is a exciting story that makes your heart pound. 'Of all challenges the greatest is to be yourself,' and Perloo easily winned the challenge.   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtThe broken blade
by Durbin, William, 1951-
I learned what it's like being a voyageur in the 1800s. But sometimes what's happening and the dreams and thoughts in the story were awfully dreadful.   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtThe kid who ran for President
by Gutman, Dan
I thought this book was patriotic and hilarious. It told the story of an all-American twelve-year-old who was running for President of the YOU-nited States and it was from the kid's point of view. My favorite part was about the great debate of the three possible-future-Presidents because the jokes just crack me up!   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtLord Kirkle's money
by Avi, 1937-
It's a very charming book filled with exciting parts that I had to hold my breath with every turn of a page. [Series: Beyond the Western Sea #2]   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtWolf-speaker
by Pierce, Tamora
Greatly thrilling. I took very much pleasure reading it. Books in The Immortals series are similar to Harry Potter and Redwall. [Series: Immortals 2]   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Vastly entertaining. Can't wait to read the next book.[Series: Immortals 1]   posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

Cover ArtFinding my voice
by Lee, Marie G.
This book has great details about Ellen Sung being in high school and facing problems such as: being prejudiced by idiots, high school politics, and a cute and popular guy that shouldn't be interested in Ellen. Also being on the gymnastics team, getting her grades up and fufilling her parent's expectation of getting into Harvard, interviewing with colleges, and much more. It's well-developed and after you read it you find it memorable.   posted Jun 6, 2005

Cover ArtThe celestine prophecy : an adventure
by Redfield, James
I think this book was a good guide to how you should view events in life and other useful thoughts with it's nine insights that also predicts the future. The adventure was exciting. There was some really good suggestions, though some thoughts may be confusing. There is a sequel to it about the tenth insight.   posted Jun 22, 2004

Cover ArtThe Reader's digest Word Power(R) quiz book : over 1,000 word challenges from Am
by Reader's Digest Association
This book could make you remember new vocabulary words fast. It's really helpful. It's as fun as reading a novel.   posted Jun 17, 2005

Cover ArtA swiftly tilting planet
by L'Engle, Madeleine
This book is full of different thrilling tales that are interwined into one big story from the past that could change the present. This book is science fiction and I liked the idea of unicorns being able to travel through time and other interesting ideas. Some small parts are not clearly explained.   posted Jun 6, 2005

Cover ArtStone Fox
by Gardiner, John Reynolds
Satisfying story. Little Willie was a strong character because he wanted to win money from a sled race and make Grandpa better, despite all odds. The ending made the book extremely memorable.   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtFirst test
by Pierce, Tamora
I thought this book was superior. It was a pleasant surprise every time Keladry was given a small chance to show herself worthy and she achieves it even after all that she's been through with others who think themselves higher than her. Keladry was extremely modest for a ten-year-old and I thought no wonder she made loads of friends in the end. [Series: Protector of the Small #1]   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtStargirl
by Spinelli, Jerry
Incredibly awesome. Stargirl is like a mockingbird. It imitates calls of extincted birds.   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtThe outsiders [audio cassette]
by Hinton, S. E.
I think this was a fine book. It was mainly about the problems teens had to face in the 1960s and how they tried to stay together.   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtThe witch of Blackbird Pond
by Speare, Elizabeth George
A pleasant story. I thought the character Kit Taylor were heroic because she was determined to stay with her aunt's family in Wethersfield and then to save Hannah from the witch hunters. Also great settings: colonial times, peaceful Blackbird Pond, Kit's memories of the Barbados. [Newbery Medal Winner]   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
by Rowling, J. K.
Purely splendid. Incredibly interesting in every page.   posted Apr 9, 2004
