by Levine, Gail Carson I had this book read to me in fourth grade. Now that the movie is out, I decided to read it again because I couldn't remember it that well. As an 8th grader, I LOVE this book. It is writted exquisitly and has good humor, plot, and anything else you want. A definite page turner! posted Apr 23, 2004

by Cooney, Caroline B. I thought this book was awesome!! I don't really like reading suspense books, but I totally liked this one! What Dusty did was really wrong! Just handing a baby to a kid!! It made me think about me when I will have a baby. Questions will suddenly pop in my head while I read like, "Will I abadon my baby? (Course NOT!)" I love books that give me those kind of thoughts. Some books don't do that, and I can't really understand it without questions. It's very hard to find good books these days but I really recommend this book. posted Apr 9, 2004

by Harlow, Joan Hiatt I thought it was extremly good. In the beginning it caught my attention, then I just kept reading and reading. That was very rare for something that I would do, and all because of a beginning sentence! This is one of my favorite books now. posted Apr 9, 2004

by Babbitt, Natalie I loved this book!! It was very touching, and it gives you a perspective of the olden days. Like a life without televisons, or computers, but just the wild life, and hard work. Since this book was a love/adventure story it made me think about my future love life. For example will I be meeting my true love in the forest?? Or will I be meeting him at a friend's house?? I really like books that makes me think about questions like that. posted Apr 9, 2004
