Throughtout the entire book, i laughed so hard that i had a stumache ach for days. I loved how the characters were all SO BIG, and there was no rrom in the book for any bordeom. Cover ArtMy perfect life
by Sheldon, Dyan
I read "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and loved so i thought i would try this one (since it is the sequel). This book was good, however i definitly was NOT even a little bit as interesting as Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. I think in this one, Lola (who is my FAVEORITE character) is so much more mellow and toned down, and this makes the book so much harder to get into. This book also wasnt has funny, and a bit too serious for the type of characters and the setting. For all of this i take off 2 points. The book was deep, however, and showed the heavier, more troubling side of teen life, and, being the child of separated parents, i can really relate to Ella when her parents are having rough times. Also, in this book you get to see some more dirty fighting of the teen queen, Carla Santini, so i would give it 3 stars! Yu Should read it, and dont forget to also read Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen!   posted Oct 20, 2004

Cover ArtInkheart
by Funke, Cornelia Caroline
This book was the BEST!!! I couldn't stop reading it once I started it. Unlike many books, the adventure begins in the first chapter! Inkhear is about a girl named Meggie who lives with her father. When Meggie was very little, her mother suddenly dissapears into a book, while three other people end up coming OUT of the book. That is when everything starts. She always has to move, but doesn't know why! Finally, when she is 12 years old, she gets a strange visitor at her house. Things keep getting worse for her after the strange visitor, and after many horrible things happen to her and her father, you would think nothing could possibly happen worse. But things do get worse! Meggie has to do the unthinkable!!! I won't tell you anything else, or it will ruin the book. Inkheart is now my favorite book, and will probably be yours once you pick it up and read it!   posted Feb 22, 2005

Cover ArtEragon
by Paolini, Christopher
THe reason I read this book was to see if the view point of a younger author appealed to me or if it was not to my liking! I personally enjoyed the way I was more at ease with the authors style and rythm. I believe that his age also helped me to relate better to his characters and situations. If you enjoyed reading various chapters of fantasy I think you will agree with me that this book is truly unquie. You will also find yourself wanting to strangle him as he leaves you on the edge of a cliff waiting for his new book. [Series: Inheritance #1]   posted Oct 18, 2004
