Fiction, nonFiction, and occasionally (very) poetry -- that's what we read. We sometimes, quite accidentally or serendipitously, get on a theme/topic, e.g., World War II (Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society; Night Watch are two examples), or like Antarctica. Twice/year we propose book titles and then vote. This month Nov09) the fourteen books proposed were difficult to narrow to seven (much less our intended six), so we kept the entire list and, by vote, chose "The First Seven." | |

 The postmistress by Blake, Sarah Awesome read! I couldn’t put it down. I’m glad the Sarah Blake included (at the end) her list of sources that helped her imagine details of her story. I read this right after posted Jan 14, 2011 at 7:48PM
