It would be nice to know what the other movie is. Imitation of Life is one of my favorites, but I don’t know if I’m ready to see it again. Oh well, reserve it anyway and be surprised I say! posted Dec 11, 2012 at 8:25AM

this would be fun for all ages - about a guy who falls who love with a girl who turns out to be a doll, so he goes back to his old girlfriend (who for some reason takes him back!!) - music is beautiful. posted Oct 8, 2009 at 2:03PM

I listened to the CD book narrated by Jim Dale - I try to listen to EVERYTHING he narrates (Harry Potter books, Around the World in 80 Days, A Christmas Carol) - what a fun book for all ages! posted Oct 17, 2008 at 8:35AM

by Verne, Jules, 1828-1905 I mainly listened to the CD book narrated (he's fabulous), but the book is SO GOOD!! posted Oct 17, 2008 at 8:33AM

by Sparks, Nicholas I'm having a hard time being excited about anything Nicholas Sparks writes these days - they always follow the same pattern - boy meets girl, they fall in love, they have a big breakup, they get back together - he's the Danielle Steel of the male gender! posted Oct 17, 2008 at 8:31AM

by Ahern, Cecelia, 1981- This is a fantastic book. The movie was not as good. They might as well have used an entirely different title - there were that many changes, additions, etc. posted Dec 26, 2007 at 8:04AM

by Laura Esquivel I hated this book, and I hated the movie. posted Dec 19, 2007 at 7:55AM

by Pryce, Lois This book has inspired me to trek out on my own adventure - not like Lois, but anything is possible! posted May 30, 2007 at 10:03AM
