 The pillars of creation by Terry Goodkind This is the seventh book in the Sword of Truth Series. In this book two more dangerous enemies join the fight against Richard. After nursing Kahlan back to health, Richard gets captured by Nicci, a sister of the Dark, and is forced into the lifeless heart of the Old World.  Life of Pi : a novel by Martel, Yann. Excellent piece of leturature. The story takes place when India was at war, hence why the family decided to move to Canada. The only set back is that the ship sank and only the youngest member of the family survies... Pi Patel and he is in the company of a Zebra, a Heyna, a Tiger, and an Orangutan.
