 When things fall apart : heart advice for difficult times by Chodron, Pema. If the title scares you, you should read this book. Amazing insight for those of us who keep trying to hold our life together.

 The joy of knitting : texture, color, design, and the global knitting circle by Myers, Lisa R. Very few knitting patterns in this book, but this busy girl read it front to cover. Now I have lots of knitting lore to share at my knitting circles!
