Violet Paz is 15, and she has a lot to cope with. Her colorful family's annual get-together is crashed by the police for being too...colorful, her vegetarian activist friend is constantly dragging her to weekend political rallies, and she's been ordered to join her high school's speech team in order to perform an original comedy sketch that's actually supposed to be funny.
