I thought that this was a pretty good book. It wasn't exactly what I expected. Molly forms a band with her two friends, Jane and Tara to help with the "girl revolution" and when Dean and his friend T see The Hormones (her band) play at one of her first gigs he wants to help make her better. But when they get a manager and become big, who can Molly really trust?

This book tells the in's and out's of a teenage girl's life--but it's not any normal teen. It's the life of a former teen rock 'n' roll sensation, Molly Montgomery, which the book starts out by telling she is being sued. Her lawyer tells her to remember everything that happened and to write it all down. Molly's story tells about the formation of her geek girl band and then their sudden rise to fame.
For Molly there are a lot of firsts. Her first band, first gig, first recording contract, first tour, and even first kiss. But everything is not as great and glamourous as a rock star's life should seem. There's controlling parents and nights being the wallflower at wild parties. It is clear that Molly's naiveness will lead her to big trouble.
This novel was quite different from what I expected, yet still captivated me.

This book wasn’t at all what I expected. The begining starts out really good with three friends forming a band then hitting it big time. They end up getting mixed up with drugs and bad relationships in the end though. Not all books need to have all of that drama in it.

i loved this book so much. i hope that later on someone makes it into a movie, cause there needs to be more female rock bands out there (and i’m talkin mainstream) and if this book were made into a movie, it would show them what they were getting into with this industry...not to scare them away or anything *babbles* but i do think that girls need a kind of role model movie. i think that it would be a success.
