I have tried six of the bread and biscuit recipes and they were all wonderful, though my family prefers the flaky to the fluffy biscuits. I’m a busy mom who prefers homemade foods, bread included, if it’s quick and straight-forward. The recipes are all easy, the ingredients are readily available at Lunds, Byerlys, and Cub. I tried the biscuits with Gold Medal flour cut with cake flour (versus the recommend brand flour, which Lund’s does carry) and loved them. If you like breads and biscuits and are tired of Bisquick (I was), I highly recommend that you try the recipes in this cookbook.

The pumpkin bread is my absolute favorite recipe in this entire cookbook. I also enjoyed the lemon bread and am planning to try the double ginger bread.
