I am an inexperienced gardener, trying to create a low maintenance lawn that is respectful of native plants. This book was very helpful - it’s very easy to navigate, has many lists (such as deer-resistant plants, ground cover plants, butterfly attracting plants, etc) but also has many individual plant profiles if you want to learn more. Further, it explains terrain throughout MN, Zone definitions and how to responsibly buy the plants discussed. Very well done, I will consider buying for my library at home as I suspect I will want to refer to it in the future.
