There’s no doubt about it. . . The River of Doubt is a good read. I haven’t read a history book since attending college in the ’70s, but I was captivated by this historical account. I rode the rapids, feared the natives and the jungle, and suffered the starvation along with Roosevelt, Rondon and their entourage. If you haven’t read a history book, you’ll be entranced with this one!
