This modern classic tale is the magical story of a boy called Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd who was inspired by his own dream to go out into the world and quest for “his treasure that has been buried under the Egyptian sands." On his way, he meets friends and formidable obstacles. As he nears the end of the journey he discovers that the treasure is the journey itself. This book is about realizing one’s dream no matter how far and how difficult it seems. The fact that the tale is full of simplicity, wisdom, love and human kindness, it makes you think and feel the depth of your soul. I recommend it to everyone who wants to awaken and follow his/her dreams.
