This is a twist on Night of the Living Dead and certinly not a great story by Stephen King, but entertaining and worth a read for the die hard fan.

This is a re-write (with a twist) of The Stand. The ending isn't an ending, but a cliffhanger and very disappointing. Maybe there will be a Cell 2, Reboot that will explain things and let us know what really happens to the lead character. It was a fast read, but a sad recycle of an earlier, better idea. Try again Stephen.

Ok, this wasn’t a remake of The Stand, and that being said, should not be sized up to it. This book was written as an homage to all the zombie movie makers King grew up with. I will agree that this writing was not the best, but it read along quickly. The idea for it was cool, but some of the descriptions of characters started to get annoying.
6/10.

This novel is nothing new under the sun but still very well written. What is worth is not the story itself, but the human interactions that the author describes after the “pulse”. Stephen King really shows well a dark side of the human soul.
