It's almost as if the screenwriter only read the middle of the book - what a waste of a movie. If you must see the movie, do not read the book first. You'll be SO disappointed.

I thought that the book was wonderful but the movie was a bit worse. The book is a must read for people who like stories of overcoming and big acheivements in peoples lives. I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend this to anyone.
