I am a fan of Ivan Doig, but this might be a new favorite. He just tells a story so well and has well drawn characters that make you care about their lives.

This if the first book by Ivan Doig that I have read. It’s wonderful writing-a complete delight. And I was unable to predict the outcome. I look forward to reading more of his books.

Ivan Doig is a new favorite author. I also grew up in Montana and he story tells like my daddy did. Just normal everyday facts, but put together in a manner that just makes you keep reading. Love his books I have read several.
