I love this book! I own it and have read it thousands of times. On a rating from 1 star to 5 stars it REALLY deserves a 5! This book definately should have been awarded. Probably Newberry.

I was really surprised by this book, expecting a decent sports story and finding not just very good sports fiction, but good fiction, period--not just about baseball, but about the experience of being an undocumented kid in the U.S. Well done!
