I am getting frustrated with M Grimes, her last 2 books ended with not being clear the solution to the mystery presented. Very abstract and leaves the reader hanging as to what has happened to the characters. I also was not happy with the sexual antics of Jury. It seems a bit out of character and like this was added to a’spice up" the story . It just did not wring consistent with previous books.

I can hardly stand to read Martha Grimes’ Jury books anymore. She doesn’t completely resolve the mysteries and leaves you hanging. Nothing in the story is concrete. She also devotes quite a bit of time to characters not involved in the mystery and I find these parts boring and too cute.

I have too agree that they have really gone downhill on the endings.
