Priceless. If you are looking for a fun, capturing, and informative book, you don't have to look any further. I have read this book at least five times, and each time I read it, I find out something new. It is a shame that not too many people experience the joy felt when reading this and other books by Durrel. Have fun, and remember to read Bafut Beagles if you ever get a chance to.

Wonderful for all ages! This is the uproarious, classic account of an animal - loving British boy, his diverse brothers and sisters, and their very patient mother living in Corfu in the 1930s. Its vivid descriptions of the idyllic life on the island will make you want to buy a ticket immediately!
