Stephine Plum is a little slice of what is good in this world. If you think you are having a bad day - It's nothing compared to her normal work day! The qoute I like the most to describe her is " If Lucy Ricardo & Elliot Ness had a child, it would be Stephine Plum!

JANET EVANOVICH SAYS the reason she switched from writing Romance novels to mysteries is because she ran out of sexual positions. The good news for readers of her highly successful Stephanie Plum series (which began with One for the Money) is that she’s unlikely to run out of numbers. Although she’s currently contracted through 10 titles (with Hard Eight her latest), her current plans don’t include stopping there. She ought to be able to find enough compromising situations for her feisty former-discount-lingerie-buyer-turned -bumptious-bounty-hunter to compile a comfortable Kamasutra of comic mysteries. Making murder funny is serious business. For Evanovich, finding her comic vein didn’t come easily. Hers is another one of those long,

The Stephanie Plum series are a riot. They will make you laugh out loud. All of the books seem to have abrupt endings though.

I’ve been interested in this series for a long and finally picked up "One for the Money" and read it. I don’t usually like mystery/adventure books, but this one was great - I love the strong female character of Stephanie Plum not to mention her humor...a great combo. I’m excited to read the second book in the series..."Two for the Dough" I believe.

Who can resist Stephanie Plum and the rest of the interesting characters in the NJ Burg? Catching the bad guys, having her cars destroyed, and falling for the bad boy from high school, Stephanie is always entertaining. Check out all the Stephanie Plum books - there are now 13.

This is, to date, the best book I have read. This whole series is filled with hilarious characters. You would never believe the people Stephanie Plum, the protagonist, comes in contact with. The craziest things happen to her. Not only is it funny, it has suspense. She finds herself in a jam more than once! And along with suspense there is definite sexual tension between her and the man she is trying to catch, Joe Morelli. You should definitely read this book if you are looking for a quick read and a few laughs. But beware: once you start reading Janet Evanovich, you wont stop until you have read every book in her series!!
