This garbage is a tribute to the sanity and sensibility of Christopher Walken, Steve Buscemi, Willem Dafoe and Michael Douglas, for having turned down the roles, which were offered to them; it is nothing more than a third-rate comic book, on film! It has always mystified me when writers and directors are allowed to indulge themselves, to the degree where there is no substance—only violence. When I finished watching this mess, I felt like I needed to take a bath—in gasoline!

I couldn’t disagree more with the previous critics synopsis. I loved Sin City and in fact plan on watching it for the fourth time this evening. Though it is graffically violent this movie is also breathtakingly original and sexy. Yes the sex and violence are raw but I don’t mind the tough stuff. This movie is a visual masterpiece.
