The first in an awesome series. It incorporates fantasy creatures from a lot of different cultures, and I suggest you read it right away. This series is on my top ten list of books.

This is a great series about a brother and sister who have to work with faeries and other mythical creatures to battle evil. In this one they go on a quest into the dragon sanctuary. Lots of action!

Being an adult, I read this book to make sure that it was appropriate for my children. I found to my surprise that not only would it be a good read for them, but I really enjoyed it myself. The author made the characters believable, and really pulled you into the story. I’ve got both a boy and a girl who will enjoy this story and I’ve put both the second and the third in this series on hold at the library and I can’t wait to see what happens!
