Hands down, K'Wan is my favorite author of all times. He is so advanced in his writing and has a unique way of doing what he does. I loved this book and the one before it. The whole Hood Rat series (Hood Rat & Section 8: A Hood Rat Novel) had my head deep in the pages for ever. I love his skilled ways and creative mind. His writing personality comes off as being really real and he has no problem dishing you the opposite of a fairy tale. I highly recommend K'Wan in any of his books. I plan on reading all of them, and am almost there. ;)
