I think Rita Mae is coming off my Author Alerts list. This effort is her weakest of the Sneaky Pie series, IMHO. I resent the tone she’s taken in this book--chidingly pro-fox hunting, pro-Christian and, of course, pro-gay. I’m not anti any of the above but I don’t want to have her views jammed down my throat. (Yes, I know she’s a Lesbian.) One of her fox hunting series was similarly strident. Ah well, so many series run out of ideas after a while. This one is no exception.
