What other readers are saying about this title:
This is the beginning of one of my favorite Shoujo (or Shojo) manga series. To be honest, the first book did not inspire me. Indeed, the first time I read it I ditched the series after only a few chapters. Later, I was super bored and went further into it and, though it took me a while to get into the characters and the story, once I did I was completely hooked. Give it a chance through Volumes 1-5 and you should know for sure whether this series is for you or not. Book one is the setup of Kyoko’s grudge with music rock star Sho Taro and some of her psychic differences, not really exclusive to psy powers either, though they are interesting in and of themselves :P. Her mind is a bit differently build than most, but she’s got a certain purity that is charming in an admittedly sophisticated world, which leads her to nail down the one quality that she most lacks in her attempt to break into show biz. That said, she and the president of LME (the talent agency she hoped to join) both are intrigued by the potential within her, and both wrestle with the simple question of whether she should even TRY for a career. With a serious challenge from the Tiasho who is supporting her, she turns in Volume 2 to face the challenge she thought she had already lost.
