10 of 10. It is a classic love story. A sad story, yes. But still a classic. Great book!

Hearing the wonders of this heart-breaking novel, an 80-year old man tells his wife the story of her life. However with her having Alzheimer's, her memories are fading and along with her whole life and husband. So he comes in the hospital and tells her the story everyday, because she doesn't remember it from yesterday. What he read tell her about the teen-romance that they once had and the dangers and difficulties that followed.
