This was a good book about a girl who could see the dead and got teased at school for it. Her mother died at birth and her father doesn't want her and she had to live with Mama Ya-Ya who helped give birth to her and many other people. Mama Ya-Ya can see ghosts too and her dreams can tell the future. A type three hurricane comes through their neighborhood, but that isn't what they should be afraid of, but what comes next.
