Wow! So good on many levels—plot, prose, characters, setting. It has nothing to do with flowers! That’s a cautionary note before reading this ‘tremendously assured, cool, complex, slow burn of a novel’ as one of the book jacket’s words of praise say. For once, those notes are all true!
