I recently read in the news that this woman named Marily French died. I read the article and found she was an influential writer during the feminist movement. So I went on the library catalog to locate the book that the library had the most copies of. Surely, that was the book I should read! This is the book I ended up with. It was a great one. It moves pretty slowly at the beginning and was a little confusing. But I kept pushing through it and soon enough I was hooked. I felt a great pride in being a woman once I finished this. I also felt grief for all the crap we have dealt with just like any other non-white, non-male people.
