Kind of a strange one from Camilla Lackberg. This book goes back and forth between incidents in the 1920s-1950s as well as the present time. Patrik is investigating a murder of a child who is a family friend. As the story in the past progresses it becomes easy to pick out the killer. Part of the strangeness of this book is that several of the characters have brain disorders such as Aspergers and D.A.M.P. It’s almost as though the author was trying to educate the reader. Oh well. What I enjoy most is the characters and the continuing story of their lives. On Goodreads a lot of people were angry at the ending but it just got me more hooked.
