I just absolutely adored this book! I connected so well with the main character and her love for Simon and Baz, well except my love is for Merlin and Arthur. I felt that the author (who is my new favorite because of this book)told something real and exciting through this novel. I loved the way Cath was an introvert and a true fangirl, not the hipster kind of fan everyone else claiming to be a fangirl. I adored each character to death because they were real and interesting. I couldn’t contain my love and laughter and tears for this book. I give it a standing ovation and a million thumbs up! If you love socially awkward college students and amazing story-telling skills, I definitely recommend this to you!

This book is one of my favorite books and Rowell is an excellent author. Fangirl is such a magical description on ordinary book-obsessed teens. It really shines light on being yourself and although it is written for more mature audiences, the general idea is for all ages, a life lesson.
