I only read the book after the movie starring Johnny Depp came out, and was surprised how much better it was then either of the movies. It is just a cute children story with an interesting lesson. I would highly recommend it for any age.

This book is about a boy named Charlie who finds a Golden Ticket and gets to see Mr. Wonka's chocolate factory. There are four other children who have bad habits like eating too much, watching too much television, chewing gum, and being spoiled. I loved the book!

it is a really good book for children and the five off the winners are geting to spend the whole day with wila wonka and four of them are not going so well and the last on is very lucky i hope you read get to read this book you cant stop reading it sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The movies SO did not do justice to this book. Is it wrong to like childrens' books at my age? I hope not.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I recommend this book if you like funny books. This book will surprise you if you have not seen the movie. A person named Charlie is poor and he has a journey through coolest Factory ever. But you will have to read the book if you want to see what happens to Charlie.

Its a good book.I am in the middle of reading it with my class.It is about a poor boy named Charlie that is poor and he found one dollar in the gutter and when he bought a second chocolate bar there was a golden ticket in it.

This was a great book. It was about a kid named Charlie who won golden tickets to a chocolate factory, He goes with his grandpa. A guy named Wanka, the owner of the factory, shows Charlie and the other children around the place. Each kid vanishes some how except Charlie. Read the book to know why!
