This was a very heartfelt, touching story of a young woman, Novalee, who was dumped off at a Wal-mart by her husband when they were moving to a new city. Novalee is pregnant at the time, and being in a small town unknown to her, she decides to live in the Walmart store. This story has an excellent perception of how truly nice some people in the world are, and it makes you want to keep reading about the friends she makes. This is a great book for anyone to read, even guys.

In this book you really feel for Novalee Nation. I read it in 8th grade and really enjoyed it. This is a great novel with the theme home is where your history begins.

Liked the book better than the movie though that's usually how it goes. though the movie wasn't that bad I still loved the book more.
