This book was recommended to me by a friend for use with my 8 year old daughter. It was invaluable! Just the right combination of humor to deflect the embarrassment she (and I) were feeling, and factual information to give her. We read it together and then she could read it on her own and ask questions as they came to her. I had to renew it twice, she didn’t want to return it! I think the cartoonish drawings were just real enough. I highly recommend this book to those parents who are wondering how to approach this subject with their kids.
