I thought this book was very interesting and it shows you how much some Asian women went through. It was about this wealthy girl who refused to have her feet bound unlike other women before her. So some consequences came with it and her engagement was cut off. So she became and Amah or Nanny. She went to stay with some Big Noses (Americans) and she became very fond of them. So she traveled all the way to San Francisco to meet her new Asian husband with whom they made a restaurant together. This book is Historical Fiction and great for reports.
