This is a great book to read because of the great message of love proclaimed throughout the book. In the story, a young boy buys a pair of shoes for his mother who has terminal cancer. When the young boy doesn't have enough money, a man behind him in line who could always buy anything he wanted but lacked love, pays for the rest of the cost . The characters meet intermitedly throughout the story .

If you're looking for a tear jerker, any of her books will fit the bill.
