I think that this book caught the insight of many people who just read the first half. Gharret keeps you attached to the end to make you keep reading. And the ending was most enjoyable. Happening with something not many people can guess.

I have never read a book like this. I would have never in a million years thought of a plot like this. Love, Fear, and Shame, are the three best ways to describe the characters and their feelings throughout the book. It isnt just a sweet romantic story, it deals with people questioning their sexuality and what comes with it. Whether it be shame from others around you, refusing to face the facts, or figuring out if its just a phase, Garret Freymann-Weyr deals with it all in My Heartbeat.
